Dunia is a native New Yorker in her mid-twenties who lives with two hilarious gals from college in a souped-up tenement in downtown Manhattan. Dunia decided to start this blog after days of agonizing over more ways to establish herself as the over-exposed poster child of generation x. Dunia does not own a TV but instead gets her cable fix a few mornings a week while peddling very slowly on the elliptical for 35 minutes. If she’s lucky music videos will be on. If not, the Today Show.
When she’s not figuring out how to update her blog, you can find her working as a paralegal, or preparing for law school, or painting her nails a jazzy Essie hue, or eating at one of Keith McNally’s restaurants, or buying pointless things, like nude patent leather oxfords. At one point, Dunia considered herself an avid, aspiring yogi (though she could barely touch her toes). However, her passion for mastering headstand has temporarily moved to the back burner as she attempts to paint the town red before beginning the dreaded 1L year. Her favorite poses are Halasana (plow pose), Parivrtta Ardha Chandrasana (twisted half-moon), and Adho Mukha Vrksasana (handstand).
Dunia will probably fill this blog with frivolous things that she finds interesting, art events that she’d like to attend, places she’d like to go, or things that she’d like to collect.
Dunia is always in search of more interesting reading materials, open bar events, a substitute for her beloved Domino magazine, political blogs, and the perfect first-day-of-school outfit. If you can help her fill any of these voids she’d be much obliged.
